Matt McCauley EA MS

Matt has been performing tax and accounting services for individuals and small businesses for over 25 years. Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Taxation from California State University, Sacramento. He passed the Enrolled Agent exam in 2001 and is an active member in the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA).

In August, 2014, Matt earned the prestigious Fellow designation from the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) for completing the three levels of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI ®).  This achievement demonstrates Matt’s dedication to protecting taxpayer rights and attests to his expertise in tax.

As an Enrolled Agent, Matt is uniquely qualified to handle your current year tax return, plan for next year’s taxes and provide representation services before the IRS. Enrolled Agents are required to complete a minimum of 30 hours continuing education each year, assuring that your tax return is prepared in accordance with the most recent tax laws.
